Boone County has and will always be home to me. Having worked in all areas, I feel that I have a unique insight into the needs and concerns of our citizens. Teaching for the last 25 years has given me the opportunity to work closely with the youth in our community. I previously served as a member of the Madison Little League Board of Directors, where I helped host state tournaments and brought many people to Boone County from various areas. I am a current member of the Boone County Parks and Recreation Board where we have had to make numerous difficult financial decisions over the last several years for the benefit of all Boone County citizens.

        I know how to work well in group settings and I will ask the tough questions that are needed to get Boone County moving in the right direction.
